The Challenge

A Czech product company approached us with the task of hiring four mid-level frontend developers within a strict one-month deadline. The key requirement? Solid experience with React. Needless to say, this was no easy feat. We identified five major challenges that we had to overcome:

✅ High Demand: Frontend developers are the second most sought-after position in the tech industry, which makes competition for talent fierce.

Scarcity: Not only is demand sky-high, but the supply of qualified frontend developers is limited. Research shows that frontend developers consistently rank in the top 10 hardest positions to fill.

Specific Expertise: The client required developers with proficiency in React, a framework not universally adopted by all frontend developers, adding another layer of complexity.

The Solution

A tough task, but exactly the kind of challenge we thrive on. Our first step was to mark the project as "urgent," which meant pulling out all the stops to ensure success. Given the tight deadline (four difficult hires in one month), we didn’t just rely on standard recruitment practices—we brought in additional specialists to speed up the process.

One of the critical factors in achieving success was the exceptional partnership with our client. Their quick response times, thorough reviews of candidate resumes, and prompt feedback made a huge difference. We want to extend a special thanks to them for their collaboration.

The Result

Despite the client’s internal HR team conducting parallel searches, it was our recruiters who ultimately succeeded in closing all four positions. The secret? Our deep understanding of the nuances of IT recruitment. Over the course of the project, we processed 🔹231 candidate applications 🔹personally interviewed 42 of them 🔹presented 25 shortlisted candidates to the client. Of those, the client interviewed 16, extended offers to five, and successfully hired four.
